Nominations for the Woods Services Award

Woods Services Award trophy

Did your council present a Torch of Gold Award this year? (If not, why not?) If so, take the recipient’s application and use it to fill out a nomination for the national Woods Services Award. Each year, the Award is given to one or two BSA volunteers for exceptional service and leadership in the field of Special Needs Scouting.

Each council may nominate one Scouter for the award each year. Use the official nomination form, which must be signed by the council’s Scout Executive. Send the signed form to SpecialNeedsChair@scouting.org. Woods Services nominations must arrive by January 31.
